Alzheimer's Epidemic
There is about 5.4 million Americans living with the Alzheimer's disease. This disease can kill and it can not be prevented, cured or slowed down. Every 69 seconds, someone in the United States develops Alzheimer's. Whoever has the Alzheimer's disease will die after having it for about 8-10 years.It interferes with a person’s daily life and activities but that doesn't change it from being sad and deadly.
How does the brain act to when it has the Alzheimer's disease?
The alzheimer's brain cells is in the middle of the neurofibrils, and when a brain has this disease, the neurofibrils tangle and this is when people start to notice they have this deadly disease. Neurofibrils are fibrils in the cytoplasm of a nerve cell, visible by light microscopy.
