What is Alzheimer's disease?
Alzheimer's disease is progressive mental deterioration that can occur in middle or old age, because of generalized degeneration of the brain. It is the most common cause of premature weakness in a person's older age. Deterioration is when something becomes progressively worse. Degeneration is the stage or process of being or becoming degenerate; decline.
Consequences
People with this disease have to be stuck in a retirement home because they cant be on their own anymore. This will eventually happen after a few years of having this disease.
